Well I can not believe 10 months have gone so quickly, with third term holidays
just about to start, in this update I have included a link to our on-line photo album.
It has a lot of photos of our 10th wedding anniversary at Kangaroo Valley in March this year.
I would like to thank Kerry who put all the photo's together for us, it was a great weekend and I everyone helped make it special time for Pam and myself.
It has been a busy year for both of us, with Pam getting a few catering jobs, and now I'm the club secretary of our local football (soccer) club and Pam has just taken on President of Ethan's school P&C.
I have just returned from spending 4 weeks in Darwin for work ( I was relieving as the Qantas Airport Manager) what a great experience it has been.
This year we will be spending Christmas at home, as I will be working but hope to have sometime off in the New Year/Early January so may go away for a week or so.
I have attached the link to our photo album, and everyone here sends their love,
All the best
Bob, Pam, Cara, Ethan and Mason.

Dear Bob and Pam and co, many thanks for this recent update. It always strikes me as curious that you are now preparing for summer whilst we are definitely preparing for winter. The central heating is clicking on regularly now. We have had a good summer culminating in Patrick's wedding, about which I am sure you will have heard bits and pieces. We so enjoyed the whole wedding celebration, our greatest sadness was that Lisa, Hayley and Thomas were unable to be there. However, we all of us spoke to them at different times, and they were toasted by Patrick in his speech. As for our Australian son, he certainly came up trumps as one of the Best Men and Rob was good as well. The couple looked very happy.
In June and July, we sallied forth to France, Austria (via Switzerland) and Germany, camping and B. and B. ing. It was certainly an adventure which we both enjoyed. In fact we are already planning next year's foray, probably to Croatia and Italy. The independence is good. The weather was 75% good enough, the other 25%, well grim comes to mind.
Next week, we are off to India, flying to Delhi and then going by train to the foot of the Himalayas and then walking from village to village and staying in the village houses. We are assured that the facililties are western style - but who knows. The spare room looks like a chemist's shop, anything and everything for delly belly and the rest!!!
As for Christmas, we are going up to Robert's and Emma's for the holiday, how long for, who knows, but we felt we wanted to enjoy a real Santa experience this year. We might even take in a pantomime.
We are both well, enjoying this semi-retirement. Sometimes we have a lot of work, at others there is time for the garden. We have had a good harvest this year, plums, greengages, apples, pears, raspberries and all sorts of veg. So there has been lots of freezing, jam making, chutney on the go.
We worry when we hear about the water shortage in Sydney, in fact the drought conditions. Where is it going to end? Hope to see you when we are next over, I expect sometime in the New Year. Keep the Blogs coming, I do read them, but can't access all the info. Still need more tuition. Love to everyone, Jon and Pat.
